This talk will highlight an working implementation of large scale replication for disaster recovery and general distributed repositories. This has come up in conversations with a number of large customers. We have one use case that we implemented in a proof of concept and are in the process of re-factoring it to make it more generic and to meet the needs of a few more clients. This extension will allow a federation of repositories to act as hot standbys for each other. We will highlight the overall design from the information architecture to the low level transport and will talk about lessons learned. This will draw from our experience with the USPTO and a banking consorsium.
The session recording is from the version of this talk given in London.
