Almost every Alfresco project involves migrating content from one or more existing content management systems and importing it into the Alfresco repository. For example, we might have content files on a shared drive that should be processed, classified, and filed into a new folder hierarchy in Alfresco, or we could have meta-data in a relational database and related content files on a remote file-system. There might be thousands or millions of files to import, and nearly as many migration scenarios. These efforts are often done under very short timelines with a small window for switching from the old system to the new one. This session will help you plan and implement these kinds of migration solutions, and make sure you can deliver.
