Bristol City Council are a leading public sector adopter of open standards and open source software in support of business change. They have implemented Alfresco as a core component of their new applications and technology infrastructure, supporting the delivery of more efficient and effective ways of working inside the council, and new digital services to the public. This case study will provide an overview of the strategic context, business challenges, and architected response to them, how the council has used Alfresco and their future plans.
