Geo dispersed topologies are becoming increasingly common for reasons such as:
- disaster recovery,
- geographic redundancy,
- to make data available in different locations (such as users in San Francisco downloading content from Shangai),
- or sometimes for security purposes when the location of the data matters (such as the governmental sector).
This talk aims to clarify the needs and prerequisites to validate for a successful deployment of a geographically distributed Alfresco Cluster. During this session, we will detail various architectures for consideration and discuss the strengths and weaknesses. We will also look in detail at the solution employed by an Alfresco customer in Spain.
